A genetics kit designed for one or two students. Study the breeding of the Drosophila (fruit fly) and learn how characteristics like white eyes or red eyes are passed from generation to generation. Kit includes everything you need: Fly-Nap (to put the tiny flies to sleep while you study them), 12 culture vials, 12 vial plugs, 12 labels, 12 packets of Instant Drosophila Medium, measuring cup, sorting brush and a manual to guide you every step of the way. You’ll get a certificate to send in for Drosophila culture when you’re ready for your study. (That way, you can read the manual first and plan a successful experience before the Drosophila arrive!)
